Birth/Death Certificates:

The Shelby County Health Department documents all births and deaths in Shelby County.
Our records start in 1882.
A certified copies can be obtained in person at our office or by mail.
No personal checks will be accepted - only cash or money order please.

• Birth Certificates are $10 for standard size and $15 for standard sized & wallet size.
• Death Certificates are $15
• Genealogical Research can be provided upon request.
